Budget Training Resource for NGOs
Influencing government budgets is a major part of poverty reduction at national level.
ICSW member the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS)
with the support of the Asian Development Bank
has developed a resource for trainers.
The aim of the project was to assist countries in the Pacific Ocean
to influence government budgets.
At the 2006 Global Conference ICSW members were introduced to the training package.
The training resource is to be developed by ICSW for use in other regions.
